Homeopathy – Homeopathy is based on the principle of ‘like cures like’. Remedies are diluted plant, animal and mineral substances to used to stimulate the bodies healing mechanisms.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture – With over 2,000 years history of safe and effective use, TCM uses diet, herbs, and acupuncture to restore balance to the body.
Prevention and Lifestyle Counseling – Helping you prevent future disease is a primary focus of naturopathic medicine. Lifestyle counseling involves educating patients make healthy choices so that they can achieve better health.
Laboratory Testing - A wide variety of laboratory tests are offered such as food sensitivity testing, saliva hormone testing, and conventional blood work (thyroid, blood sugar, cholesterol panel, iron, B12, liver function, and others). Note: lab testing ordered by a naturopathic physician is not currently covered under MSP.
Physical Exams - Basic physical exams as well as women’s wellness exams (Pap testing and breast exam). Note: Pap testing is currently available at the Chilliwack clinic only.
